My Digital UX Philosophy
At the core of successful user friendly Digital Product Design are the three tenants to balance:
-
The Needs of the Customer/User
-
The Needs of the Business
-
The Limitations/Capabilities of the Technology
As for the Customer, it’s not just whether the user is able to complete the task on your website or app. We need to ask, “What’s the motivation for them to be there in the first place?” That’s when you’re ready to move from reactive usable design to proactive, predictive experiences.
My Business CX Philosophy
Too many businesses build their digital platforms based on the "Field of Dreams" approach, "If you build it they will come." Big mistake.
You have to know your customers to best develop a targeted plan to not only draw the customers most likely to do business with you, but also to make the best use of your marketing dollars.
